Live at the Roundhouse is unlike any other concert film connected with Pink Floyd. Its the nearest thing you can get to a time machine, transporting you back to the very earliest days of the band. Nick Mason, the only band member to have played on all of Pink Floyds studio albums, returns to the group's earliest records, joined in the line-up by Gary Kemp, Guy Pratt, Lee Harris and Dom Beken.
Nick Masons Saucerful of Secrets took the drummer back to clubs for the first time since 1967, then to theatres, across the UK, North America and Europe, playing only music his old band had recorded before The Dark Side of the Moon.
Captured from the bands celebrated shows at Londons Roundhouse, where Pink Floyd played some of their most revered early shows in the 1960s, the film features a uniquely thrilling setlist including songs hailing from Syd Barretts time with the band. Only four songs from this eclectic roster have ever previously appeared on official live releases by Pink Floyd or its members. Everything else is being experienced for the first time since their original live performances.

What a performance from the highest quality musicians, these songs are so original and diverse, each one telling a great story and takes you on a journey. Make sure to watch the interviews in extras, very informative and interesting!

The chance to hear these songs live is the best thing. Early Pink took chances and were not easily pigeon holed. Imagine, they were actually mates then and got along! The music is warm and appealing. Dvd quality is decent. I saw this show live in San Francisco in 2019. Love Fearless, Saucerful of Secrets, Interstellar Overdrive, Set the Controls, Let There Be More Light.

This concert put me back in my seat at the Akron Civic Theater last year to a fantastic evening of music and memories. The videography and sound are superb along with an amazing 5.1 soundtrack. Nick and the boys looked like they were having a great time recreating these Pink Floyd classics that have been lost to performance in decades.

It is a great collection of early songs performed by a great set of musicians. They really put a fresh face on the Pink Floyd catalog. I hope I can watch the band live one day.

Magnificent, a delightful show, great sound, beautifully shot, A great way to escape all the doom and gloom surrounding us these days for a couple of hours, and a perfect reminder of the wonderful weekend I had in Ohio last year where I caught two shows, “bumped into” the band at the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame, and by amazing coincidence found myself staying in the same hotel as the band two nights in a row.

What a phenomenal show! The set list and playing sends one back to the heyday of the mid sixties. A refreshing change of pace of material that has been otherwise done to death. This band seems to be totally comfortable and highly energized in their mission , and boy howdy do they accomplish that! Thank you Nick, Guy, Lee, Gary and Dom.
